The Apex town motto is "Peak of Good Living". Located in southwestern Wake County, Apex is a small town of about 12 sq. miles and approximately 30,000 residents. It combines a relaxing small-town atmosphere with convenience to big-city amenities in Raleigh and Cary. Although poised for growth and expansion opportunities, the town planners are working to ensure that the small-town character remains true. Apex Facts & Figures
